Generic vs Name Brand

Are you one of those people that will only purchase name brand items? I am not. I usually purchase generic but I have to tell you that there is something to be said for the quality of many name brand items. When it comes to clothing, most name brand clothes are way over priced but they are also usually made very well. Companies that want to be know for good quality will actually make the items better. I would also have to say there are many name brand foods that are so much better than the generic. There really is only one Twinkies. Generic drugs on the other hand usually work just as well as the name brands. So I guess I still favor generic brands over all but some things are best purchase from well known brand.
